This is another convenience launched for customers who speak the language. At Santander Bank Polska, Ukrainian language option is available in the call centre, the mobile application and e-banking, as well as on the website. Until now, Santander Bank Polska ATMs could be used in four languages: Polish, English, German and Spanish. Currently, there is also a Ukrainian language option in most ATMs and cash deposit machines. Thanks to the service in the native language, people who have come to Poland from Ukraine can use the bank’s facilities without difficulty.

Changing the language at an ATM

For customers using Santander Bank Polska cards at the ATM, the default language is Polish. This can be easily changed – in the main menu, which appears after inserting the card into the ATM and entering the PIN, simply press ENGLISH/DEUTSCH/ESPAÑOL/УКРАЇНСЬКА and then select УКРАЇНСЬКА.

On the other hand, when using another bank’s card at Santander Bank Polska ATMs, all you have to do is select the correct language as soon as you insert the card into the reader.

Barrier-free service

Santander Bank Polska has for many years been taking steps to make service more accessible and to make the bank’s facilities easier to use for people with individual needs. As part of the 'Barrier-free service’ programme, the bank has introduced at least one or more special solutions in 90% of its ATM network which currently encompasses more than 1,500 ATMs, such as sound service, the ability to switch to high-contrast mode, screen blanking or Braille signage, to ensure the safety and comfort of visually impaired customers.
