Santander Bank Polska among the winners of the Great Place to Work certificate!

Goal 3 - Good health and well-being
Goal 5 - Gender equality
Goal 8 - Decent work and economic growth
Goal 11 - Sustainable cities and communities

Santander Bank Polska is the first major bank in Poland to be awarded the Great Place To Work certificate which demonstrates that employees appreciate the organisational culture and friendly working environment in the bank.

A key criterion for certification is a successful score in the employee Trust Index™ survey. The minimum threshold is a score of 65%. The survey is based on a methodology developed by Great Place To Work that assesses the employee experience at a given company. In this way, only organisations that employees feel are an exceptional place to work are awarded the certificate.

The Great Place To Work certificate confirms that our bank belongs to the prestigious group of companies that stand out in the labour market for their strong organisational culture. We are proud to see that what we have done so far to provide our employees with a friendly workplace, development opportunities, respect, trust and appreciation for their work has been highly appreciated. We will analyse the results of the survey to see where we can improve. I believe the certificate gives us an edge in the labour market and the chance to attract even more talented people to our bank.

This distinction speaks positively of the bank’s way of working to build an organisation that is Simple, Personal and Fair. Santander Bank Polska prides itself on a strategy based on trust and an organisational culture that supports diversity while being performance-oriented. Today, Santander Bank Polska’s employees have a more flexible working environment that emphasises diversity and prevents exclusion and performance appraisal not only according to what they do, but also how they do it. Noteworthy, more than 10 Santander Group banks in different countries have already been certified as Great Places to Work.

To qualify for the Best Places to Work 2024 list, the score must be even higher than in this year’s survey. The ranking is determined by the company’s overall score, which depends on both the Trust Index™ survey score and the Culture Audit™ score. The ranking will be announced in 2024.
