5000 people from all over the world can apply for a scholarship from Santander| Online English Courses – British Council, which will allow them to significantly improve their professional competence in foreign languages.

The Santander Group, which has been running the Santander Universidades programme in Poland for 10 years, continues its efforts to support university education, especially language training which is seen as a key factor in improving employability. Through Santander Universidades, in cooperation with the British Council, Santander is launching a new edition of the Santander Language Scholarships programme – Online English Courses – British Council.

There are 5,000 scholarships available for adult applicants from 13 countries: Argentina, Germany, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, USA, Spain, Peru, Colombia, Portugal, Poland, UK and Uruguay.

To make it easier for participants to attend classes during the pandemic, the entire programme is delivered online. Recruitment also takes place online at https://app.becas-santander.com/pl/program/becas-santander-idiomas-online-english-courses-2022-british-council and shall go on until 29 march 2022.

The courses are user-friendly and intuitive. It was an extremely useful experience for me, making it easier to converse in English. There were also a lot of grammar exercises. I highly recommend the course, I liked it a lot.

There are five levels of training available, from beginner level (A1) to advanced level (C1), and candidates are divided into groups according to their current English language skills. Each training programme lasts for 12 weeks – from April to July, and includes 12 online sessions with teachers from the British Council and 48 hours of classes on an e-learning platform. The aim of the scholarship is to improve the employability skills and increase the chances of the beneficiaries to access the international labour market.

Upon successful completion of the courses, participants will receive a language certificate from the British Council attesting to their level of English.

One of our goals is to increase the employability of young people through training in interdisciplinary skills and competences, such as foreign languages. Due to the huge interest in the programme last year, we decided to launch a new edition of the scholarships organised in partnership with the British Council.
