Santander Universidades and UEW invite you to participate in a project to develop competences for the future

The recruitment process is underway for the next edition of the „Santander Development Scholarship | Competences of the Future UEW”, a gratuitous educational programme organised by Santander Universidades and Wrocław University of Economics (UEW). Over 300 people selected in the recruitment process will take part in free training in digital and business competencies.

The Santander Group, which for 10 years has been implementing the Santander Universidades project in Poland, for the third time organises recruitment for the scholarship programme that aims to support participants in developing the so-called competencies of the future. This is a response to the dynamically changing expectations of employers regarding digital competencies and soft skills that enable and stimulate creative and successful teamwork.

The programme of this year’s edition of the „Santander Development Scholarship | Competences of the Future UEW” will focus on providing specific skills and new tools for competence development to people who want to increase their chances in the labour market or are preparing for a professional re-orientation.

Each participant will have the opportunity to take part in one of the training courses:

  • in the field of digital competence: Excel, SQL, Business Intelligence and Python programming basics,

  • business training: sales techniques, public speaking, negotiations, image building and teamwork.

We strive to ensure that our programmes develop the competencies that are most sought after by employers, namely the competencies of the future. We believe that through the development of key skills, scholarship holders gain exactly the knowledge capital that will allow them to develop their professional path and follow their dream direction.

Classes in the programme will take place in the form of online workshops, from April to August 2022. Each participant who attends the workshop will receive a certificate confirming their participation in the programme.

All persons over the age of 18 and living in Poland can apply for the „Santander Development Scholarship | Competences of the Future UEW” programme. To apply, simply complete and send the form available at https://app.becas-santander.com/pl/program/kp_uew_2022

” Today, we not only react to the phenomena occurring in the economy and economics, but we also want to actively shape them. That is why we offer programmes which enable us to provide not only our students and employees, but also all those interested with skills which will be important on the labour market in the coming years. These are related to the use of digital tools, building communication skills, teamwork, self-presentation or adaptation to change in a world full of diversity. The purpose for which we use our knowledge is the best interest of society and the individual.
