Together with Ukraine
The events in Ukraine stir strong emotions in each of us. We sympathise with our neighbours. In our Santander community we are mobilising to support the people of Ukraine and give them real help.
What Santander Bank Polska offers to its Ukrainian clients:
- we do not charge our fees for transfers to Ukraine,
- we waive the fee for newly opened Account As I Want It in PLN and all other currencies and for the Customised Card, as well as for the existing personal accounts in PLN and foreign currencies and for the previously issued and newly issued debit cards,
- we make account opening easier
For our colleagues from Ukraine:
- we offer free psychological support,
- we provide additional financial assistance,
- we give the opportunity to receive advance payments of wages for three months ahead,
- we offer a 5-day leave from work with the right to remuneration,
- our recruiters offer support in finding a job for the relatives of our colleagues.
We want to do more
Together with Santander Group banks in Europe, we donated over 4.5 million PLN supporting the International Committee of the Red Cross and the UN Refugee Agency: UNHCR.
Additionally, we have launched a charity action We Will Double Your Impact for Ukraine whereby we will double each donation made, i.e. we will add one zloty to every zloty donated. To join the campaign just make a transfer to the Santander Foundation – in the mobile app or via online banking. The account number is 53 1090 1056 0000 0001 4750 0104. We will transfer the money raised to humanitarian organisations that support Ukraine and purchase food, necessary equipment and medical supplies.
