This is the second edition of the 'Santander Scholarship for Erasmus’ in Poland. The project is aimed at students planning to participate in the Erasmus programme at 32 partner universities across Europe.
The Santander Erasmus Scholarship programme was expanded last year to include new countries in order to further promote international exchange among students, the acquisition of the competences of the future and the enhancement of young people’s chances in the labour market. In Poland, the project offers 85 scholarships of up to PLN 2,500 to study at European universities.
The opportunity to participate in the programme is a form of additional recognition and acknowledgement of the exceptional academic achievements of Erasmus scholarship holders. At the same time, the bank wants to encourage study abroad and gaining skills that are versatile and desirable in the international labour market. In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Santander Group will make a total of 3,000 scholarships available to students from Poland, Spain, Portugal and Germany. Since 2018, Santander has donated EUR 10.5 million to the programme, which will benefit more than 21,500 students by the end of the next academic year.
