Santander Bank Polska Group and Santander Foundation for the 5th time with a charity campaign
The Santander Group, Santander Bank Polska and the Santander Foundation are once again launching a charity campaign. This year they are collecting funds to help all the 18 children’s oncology wards in Poland and the E. Dutkiewicz SAC Children’s Home Hospice.
This year’s ‘We Multiply Good’ campaign will run from 2 to 27 September. Each day, the amount collected by donors will be increased by PLN 40,000. In total, the Santander Group and the Foundation will donate more than PLN 1 million. This will significantly increase the financial capacity of oncology centres to purchase equipment necessary to fight paediatric cancer.
For the past 5 years, we have been running a charity campaign in which we encourage people to donate to a specific cause, increasing the funds raised. So far, together with our donors, we have raised PLN 10 million, which has gone towards fighting Covid, helping Ukraine, child psychiatry and keeping the 116 111 helpline open. In this year's campaign called ‘We Multiply Good’, the funds raised will go to all of Poland's 18 paediatric oncology wards and the E. Dutkiewicz Home Hospice for Children.
As part of the ‘We Multiply Good’ campaign, two ‘Santander Helps’ charity runs will be held on 21 September in Gdańsk and Wrocław. Each participant can also take part in a virtual run, which makes it possible to support the action from anywhere in the world.
We believe that everyone wants to help. That is why we encourage you to support our fundraising efforts. The Foundation examines the needs on a case-by-case basis, ensuring that the funds are optimally and wisely distributed. In addition, every day we increase the funds collected by PLN 40,000. In this way, together we can achieve more and make a real difference to the quality of treatment of children struggling with cancer.
