  • corporate governance,
  • monitoring and control.

The competition is based on questionnaires that companies complete online and send to the organisers. The questions in the questionnaire refer to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Each answer in the questionnaire must be documented. On this basis, the competition jury awards points and selects the winners. This year’s edition of the competition confirms that sustainable development is based on coordinated management of various areas of business activities. Companies have to integrate environmental (E), social (S) and corporate governance (G) aspects into a coherent strategy anchored at the highest level of the organisation. The right approach to sustainable development requires systemic thinking and decision-making that takes into account the impact on all stakeholders.
