Bank representatives will speak at the second edition of the Sustainable Investment Forum Poland (POLSIF), a prestigious event dedicated to sustainable finance. The conference will be held on 17 September 2025 at the Warsaw Stock Exchange headquarters.

Sustainable Investment Forum Poland 2025 focuses on shaping the future of finance, taking into account the latest trends in sustainable investment. The forum is a place for investors and financial institutions to exchange knowledge and best practices in order to jointly develop innovative solutions in the area of sustainable development. The agenda for this year’s edition includes topics such as the future of responsible investing – a global perspective, Just Transition – what it means for banks, energy security and its financing, and market and legal barriers to sustainable investments.

Experts from Santander Bank Polska will be an important voice in the debate held during the event. Dominika Bettman, Member of the Bank’s Supervisory Board, will take part in a panel of representatives of bank supervisory boards entitled “Barriers to financing a just transition.”

A just transition is one of the greatest challenges of our time, and the financial sector has a key role to play in supporting it. The transition must be realistic, open, and based on stable financial foundations. We will discuss how to achieve this during the panel discussion,

says Dominika Bettman.

Tycjan Bielecki, ESG Managing Director in the bank’s Retail Banking Division, will moderate a panel discussion of bank representatives entitled “Sustainable development in the retail sector: tools, trends, inspirations.” In the section “Solutions for sustainable finance,” the bank’s business experts Monika Polakowska (Director of Sustainable Finance) and Kamil Radziwon (Sales Director, Green Finance) will be presenting their joint speech entitled “Sustainable finance in practice – considerations of Santander Bank Polska.”

Sustainable finance is no longer a theory, but everyday business practice. In our presentation, we will share our experience and learning lessons from implementing specific solutions for both the largest players on the market and companies that are part of their supply chain. We will also highlight best practices and market trends,

Monika Polakowska

Our clients are increasingly asking not only how to finance green investments, but also how to manage the entire transition process. Our presentation will cover partnership models that help companies navigate this change.

Kamil Radziwon
