This includes a comprehensive compliance system, regularly updated policies and procedures, mandatory training for employees and managers, effective channels for reporting irregularities, and continuous monitoring of ethical, reputational, and regulatory risks.

The bank also addresses challenges related to cybersecurity and the responsible use of artificial intelligence, treating data protection, digital security, algorithm transparency, and the ethical use of AI as key elements of its operations.

These aspects are covered by formal policies and oversight. Education is particularly important in the activities of Santander Bank Polska — both financial education and digital security education. The bank conducts projects that support the financial health of customers and employees, teaching, among others, conscious financial management and how to stay safe online
