Am I lying down or getting up? – Santander Bank Polska’s advertising spot wins first place in the Gold Banker ranking

Our advertising spot featuring Marcin Dorociński was recognised as the best in the „Golden Banker 2021” ranking. Marcin Dorociński’s rapping about the pandemic in the Santander Bank campaign.

By the decision of online voters, the first place in the Golden Banker 2021 ranking went to the commercial launched by Santander Bank Polska promoting the flexibility of the „Account As I Want It” with a mobile application. Marcin Dorociński in a humorous way raps about the daily struggle of social distancing and isolation, referring to the lockdown experience. The actor plays several characters of different ages, personalities and professions, to prove that „Account As I Want It” fits everyone.

We prepared the campaign in such a way as to encourage remote and safe banking and to show that we support our clients in every situation, and that our services and products change together with their needs. Last year we introduced many improvements and innovations to make banking easier and our educational campaigns helped to enter the online world to those who had not done it before'. “Our customers have shown that they are ready to help others. The involvement in the campaign „We Will Double Your Impact” exceeded our expectations and as a result, together we donated more than 5 million zlotys to hospitals in Poland to fight the pandemic.

The campaign also emphasised the joint action of the bank and its customers, thanks to which more than PLN 5 million went to hospitals. The bank donated PLN 2 million and doubled every zloty contributed by its clients. As a result, the aid went to 23 hospitals in Poland and over 15 thousand people donated money. The initiatives were highly appreciated by Internet users who awarded Santander Bank Polska the second place in the Socially sensitive Bank category.

The Red8 Advertising agency is responsible for the strategic and creative concept of Marcin Dorociński’s involvement in the communication of the Santander brand.
