Free cyber security training from Santander Bank Polska and Poznań University of Technology

In the face of increasingly sophisticated methods used by cybercriminals, awareness of threats is the key to safe online use. That’s why Santander Bank Polska, together with Poznań University of Technology, has prepared a free, two-stage online course on the basics of cyber security. The training starts in May, and there are 2,500 places waiting for applicants.

„Cyber Security for Everyone” is a free online course prepared in cooperation with Poznań University of Technology. Participants will learn about basic tools to prevent cyber attacks and raise their awareness of threats in the digital world. The course was prepared for people who are at least 18 years old, live in Poland and want to develop their competencies.

In this era of digital transformation, when our private and professional lives are increasingly moving online, the ability to defend against cyber threats is becoming crucial. This course is designed not only to raise participants' awareness of potential threats, but also to equip them with specific tools and strategies for protection. As a result, participants will be able to better secure their data. I am convinced that this is an investment in security that will bring benefits on many levels.

Two stages of training

The course has been divided into two stages. The first stage of the training will cover topics such as creating secure passwords, AI threats or security rules for mobile devices and social networks. The first lecture of the course will be given by Piotr Konieczny from Niebezpiecznik.pl. During the second stage of the course, the trainers will cover the basics of web application testing. Participants will receive three-month access to live recordings and the channel on Discord.

The training sessions focus on the practical aspects of cyber security, with the main goal of developing in participants the skills necessary to recognize various types of threats and to protect themselves from cyber attacks. Thanks to the interactive teaching methods used by our experts (including case studies, workshops), the acquisition of knowledge and skills that can be immediately applied in everyday life and in the workplace will be both useful and interesting. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate confirming the knowledge and skills they have acquired.
