Santander Bank Polska Company of the Year of the WIG 20 Index

The bank received the most prestigious award in the Polish capital market, which has been awarded for 30 years by the editors of the „Parkiet” Stock Exchange and Investors’ Gazette.

The Parkiet „Bulls and Bears” award is given in recognition of significant achievements in the capital market, including the greatest impact on the markets and improvement of the market reality.

This year Santander Bank Polska was named Company of the Year of the WIG 20 Index. The jury recognized both Santander Bank Polska’s record profits and the strengthening of its assets. The return on shares including dividends in 2023 was 98 percent. The bank also consolidated its assets, increased sales and the number of customers.

Santander Bank Polska’s profit for 2023 was PLN 4.7 billion. The Bank has a strong capital position, with a Santander Bank Polska Group ratio of 18.56% and a Tier1 ratio of 17.18%, securing its operations and stable growth.
