Santander Bank Polska named Best Bank for SMEs by Euromoney
Santander came in first place in the international Euromoney Awards for Excellence, in the „Best Bank for SMEs in Poland” category.
The bank was awarded for its exceptional commitment to creating solutions that made it easier for SMEs to do business and manage their finances. The competition jury recognized the bank for the actions taken to support entrepreneurs over the past year amid a challenging economic climate.
One of the products and services that the bank excelled in the past year was business loans, which provide financial stability for SMEs, thanks to a fixed interest rate throughout the loan period. In 2022, the bank was the first to introduce such loans also in an online formula. Last year, Santander Bank Polska continued to expand its financing offer for SMEs in digital channels, as well as in branches and contact centres. The bank’s customers could also take advantage of as many as 9 customized online services for efficient financial and business management, including expanded eAccounting, eLeasing or eHealth functions. Other solutions appreciated by the competition’s jury included softPOS terminals, the first biometric signature in the leasing industry at Santander Leasing, and Multisalon24. The bank also stood out for its educational campaign „MOCne w Biznesie (POWERful in Business) which inspired the female leaders from the SME sector and provided workshop and educational support. The project also rewarded the women authors of the best business plans. The winners of the project received development and investment grants.

We want to support them in their successes, but also help them face the challenges, which in the past year were set by the difficult economic situation, as well as the armed conflict across our eastern border. Satisfaction is double when these solutions are also appreciated internationally.
This is yet another award, at this year’s Euromoney Awards for Excellence, that the bank has won. In July of this year, Santander Bank Polska won the title of „Best Bank in Poland,” and was recognized then for providing customers with simple and innovative products and top-notch services.
