'The Best Annual Report’ competition is organised every year by the Institute of Accounting and Taxation. It promotes annual reports with the greatest value for shareholders and investors and good practices in financial reporting by public companies.

The highest reporting standards are the foundation of the work model we have adopted, which is appreciated by investors and other recipients of the Annual Report of the Santander Bank Polska Bank and Group. For several years, our bank has been among the winners of 'The Best Annual Report' competition, and for the second time we have been awarded the prestigious 'Best of the Best' award. We are proud to be ranked among the best every year. Our financial reporting, like many other areas of our bank's operations, is recognised as an example for other market participants to follow.

Wojtek Skalski

Director of the Financial Accounting Area

In this edition, Santander Bank Polska received awards in two categories – the „Best of the Best” award for the 2022 Annual Report in the category of banks and financial institutions and a special award for the best ESG report.

Responsible banking is an integral part of our business strategy. We have been summarising our activities in the form of ESG reports for 10 years now. We believe that transparent information in this area is crucial for the credibility of financial institutions. We are pleased that our reporting method has also been recognised by the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE). As one of the largest banks in Poland, we see that more and more companies are taking ESG into account in their operations. Therefore, we encourage them to further develop their sustainability strategies and share their practices through reports.
