Santander Bank Polska releases Consolidated Sustainability Statement for 2024

Santander Bank Polska has published its annual report, including the Consolidated Sustainability Statement. For the first time, the bank reports sustainability information in accordance with the requirements of the CSRD directive and ESRS standards.

In line with the requirements of the directive, the Sustainability Statement is now part of the Management Board Report on the Activities of Santander Bank Polska Group in 2024. The bank presents in it information on its environmental and social impact, and also addresses corporate governance matters.

This is the second time that the bank has prepared its publication based on the results of the so-called double materiality analysis. According to this assessment model, the bank’s activities are analysed from two perspectives: external (the bank’s impact on its environment) and internal (the environment’s impact on the bank’s activities). The result of the assessment is a selection of relevant topics that are covered in the Sustainability Statement.

The Group’s key indicators have been independently audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers Polska.
