Santander Bank Polska has been cooperating with Polish universities for more than 10 years, offering academic scholarships in Poland and abroad. This year, students showing the greatest activity, social involvement and the best academic results can also count on individual cash prizes donated by Santander Bank Polska.

Every year, students, graduates and employees of Polish universities can apply for a variety of scholarships in Poland and abroad offered by the bank through the Santander Universidades programme. This year, in addition to global and nationwide projects, the bank has become involved in promoting the individual achievements of the best students, doctoral students and faculty staff. For the most committed candidates, the bank has prepared cash prizes.

Each university adapts the selection and assessment criteria for applications and the amount of awards for candidates to local circumstances. The criteria that are most often taken into account include the community involvement and individual academic achievements of the candidates.

The signed agreement gives us another opportunity to reward students and doctoral students who are particularly active in the field of science or social affairs. Thanks to this cooperation, our financial potential to support the youngest members of our academic community is expanding. This is very good news at the beginning of the new academic year.

To apply for the academic prizes sponsored by Santander Universidades, register on the platform santander-grants.com/en, on the microsite of the programme offered by the university of your choice.

The purpose of Santander's awards for academic communities is not only to recognise the work done so far, but also to motivate further development. It is also a validation of the actions taken and recognition of the direction chosen by the award recipient. I believe that it is worthwhile to recognise and reward people who 'want to do more', for whom time at university is an opportunity not only to broaden their knowledge, but also to get involved in topics that are important for our society.
