On 24 September, the virtual charity run North Region Helps 2022 organised by the Santander Foundation took place. Competitors had a distance of 7.4 km to cover. They could cover it by running, walking, cycling or rollerblading. It was also possible to take part in the event online.

We invite you to watch our coverage of the run in Gdańsk:

In this year’s edition, 2,232 people – Santander Bank Polska employees, their families and friends – took part in the run. The aim of the action is to support the construction of the Care Centre in Gdańsk.

The income from the 5th North Helps Charity Run (PLN 75,000) was donated by the Santander Foundation to the construction of a Temporary Care Centre in Gdańsk. It is a place that will provide care for sick children and adults, and give their families – often overworked and tired – moments of respite. Construction work has been underway since spring 2022 and the completion is planned for the first quarter of 2023.

This is the fifth time that the Santander Foundation has organised a run for the Gdańsk Hospice Foundation. In the four previous editions, 4,623 people took part and PLN 227,000 was raised.
