The bank is preparing for rebranding
Over the weekend of 24–26 April 2026, Santander Bank Polska plans to start a rebranding process, i.e., a change of brand to Erste Bank Polska. Preparations for that weekend are underway.
The rebranding planned for the weekend of 24–26 April this year will not require any additional action from customers.
All agreements will remain in force. Account numbers, card numbers, PINs, and the hotline number will not change. New logos will appear at branches and on ATMs. The website address will change to www.erste.pl, and the app for individual customers will be renamed Erste. New names will be introduced for selected products and services.
Work related to the new visual identity is already underway at branches. On doors, windows, and within branch spaces, colour accents in shades of blue are being introduced. Blue graphic elements have also already appeared in online banking and the mobile app.
For several weeks, marketing campaigns and advertising materials have used the designation “We are changing into Erste Bank Polska”. In this way, the bank not only announces the upcoming brand change, but also emphasises the continuity of its operations—it has been present on the Polish market for almost 40 years.
We are systematically familiarising our customers with the Erste brand. Although the rebranding is still ahead of us, we are already informing them about our new brand. We want customers to feel that we are bringing them into this change step by step.
The bank communicates with its customers on an ongoing basis. It explains what is not changing and draws attention to safe banking practices. The bank does not ask—and will not ask—customers to provide passwords or PINs, or to install additional apps. Security-related communication is one of the most important elements of the preparations.
