We are Santander Week
A global event with the participation of the employees of Santander Bank Polska
This unique event is held once a year across the entire Santander Group to bring us together and remind us about our organisational culture which puts people and the relations with them first.
In the Polish rendition of the event, we encouraged our employees to take part in various activities and each day of the week was devoted to a different subject.
Monday was dedicated to the Santander brand. The most important goal of the day was to re-affirm our shared values. On that day, employees were given a chance to recognize the performance of their colleagues by awarding them a special “We are Santander” star.
On Tuesday we focused on the subject of risk management and cybersecurity. We announced the launch of the second iteration of the „Risk Heroes” competition and invited our staff members to take part in a webinar on innovations in the area of cybersecurity. The day ended with the Santander Talks conference attended by Ana Botin, Chairwoman of Banco Santander.
Wednesday was the day of corporate volunteering. We took part in the food collection for Food Banks demonstrating that together we can achieve much more. Our employees also met with the experts from Food Banks who told them how to avoid wasting food. Another highlight on Wednesday was the Santander Business Insights conference.
Thursday’s main theme was health. We promoted the benefits of physical activity and healthy lifestyle to our employees and offered them a chance to participate in a Bike Challenge and a bike quiz. The employees interested in wellbeing had a chance to take part in a webinar with an invited wellbeing expert.
And Friday, as usual, was the family day when we invited our youngest family members to the bank’s offices and branches.
