Awards and recognitions
We seek feedback on our corporate social responsibility activities from our stakeholders during meetings, dialogue sessions and everyday cooperation. But awards granted to our bank by the banking sector or experts in other fields, are also valuable indications of our performance. They not only bring us joy but confirm that we are heading the right direction.
The most effective bank in Poland
This is confirmed by the Best Bank in Poland and Best Bank in Poland for SME’s awards granted to our bank at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence in recognition of effective achievement of excellent financial results combined with the effective implementation of the strategic digital transformation project. It is the third accolade for the bank in a row and fourth in the past six year.
We are a safe bank
An accolade in recognition of the best sector practice in the “Safe Bank” category of the eighth edition of the Golden Banker ranking granted by the Bankier.pl and internet users.
We have the best mobile application
Santander mobile came first in the mobile banking ranking in Poland announced by Bankier.pl for the widest range of functions, which make the bank stand out in the market.
Top Employers Polska 2017
An accolade for the bank as one of the companies that create the best working conditions, cater for developing their talents and improve recruitment processes.
Recognition for our non-salary employee benefits
We received an award in the Best Benefits Strategy 2017 competition for the most interesting and most effective strategy of non-salary benefits for employees.
Bank Leader Incubator
We received the title of the Bank Leader Incubator for the highest amounts of guarantees issued, in a competition organised by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and the Polish Banks Association. Three bankers from the Business and Corporate Bank Division were awarded as Leaders in Sales of Guarantees from the Guarantee Fund of the Innovative Economy Operational Programme.
Operational effectiveness
We received awards in five categories at the Banking Horizons conference, including the main award in the “Operational Effectiveness of Banks” category.
We came third in the Banking Stars Ranking in recognition of the annual performance and were granted an accolade for profitability, effectiveness and business structure.
Our report among the best
Our CSRCorporate Social ResponsibilityCorporate Social Responsibility Report for 2016 was granted three awards in the CSRCorporate Social ResponsibilityCorporate Social Responsibility Reports Competition organised by the Responsible Business Forum and Deloitte. It was the only report from the banking sector to receive the award, including an accolade from the voting panel, journalists and internet users.
Top Brand 2017
We came third in the Top Brand 2017 Ranking. The award was granted in recognition of the highest positive publicity rate in terms of number, coverage and impact. The Top Brand Ranking is conducted by Press monthly based on publicity in media, internet and social media analysed by Press-Service Media Monitoring.
We received the CSR Golden Leaf from POLITYKA
Our bank was awarded second time the CSR Golden Leaf by POLITYKA weekly in the 7th ranking of socially responsible companies 2017. The judges appreciated our efforts in such areas as corporate governance, human rights, employee relationships, environmental protection, customer care, business integrity and social engagement. The award recognizes our consistent and coherent approach to corporate social responsibility and is a proof that the activities of Santander Bank Polska have a positive impact on the environment and the value of our organisation.
Santander awarded for CSR achievements
During the European Economic Congress in Katowice, at the Responsible Business Gala 2017, the results of the 11th ranking of large Polish companies evaluated for their CSR practices were presented. The Gala was organised by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
In 2017, a new formula of the ranking was introduced with a breakdown into three commitment levels. Santander Bank Polska was ranked at the highest, diamond level among other CSR excellence leaders.
Leasing Monitor recognizes our General Lease Terms and Conditions
Santander Leasing for the second time topped the ranking of the most transparent and customer-friendly general lease terms and conditions leaving behind many other leasing providers. The ranking is an independent, subjective survey published by Leasing Monitor.
Golden Clip for the Hello Dad Project
We were awarded in the competition organised by the Public Relations Companies Association for our Hello Dad project launched in partnership with Konrad Kruczkowski, the author of haloziemia.pl. (Hello Earth) blog which won the Golden Clip award.
The output of the Hello Dad project includes six written stories, photographs, documentaries and a book. It is a collection of stories about fatherhood, but even more importantly about values. During the currency of the project we recorded 3,220,000 contacts with the project or the bank (views, impressions, social media reach). The stories triggered more than 500 comments in the media.
The Gold Clips is the most prestigious competition of the PR industry which awards most creative and best executed PR projects.
Hello Dad the Social Campaign of the Year
The Hello Dad project received the main award in the ”Social Campaign of 2016:” competition, in the category “Socially Engaged Businesses “.
The judging panel wrote that the campaign ”is a great example of subtle, yet very substantial and tangible involvement of a business organisation, representing mature and elegant approach to an important subject and an inventive strategy of building the brand image and sharing experience.” The Social Campaign of the Year competition aims at promoting good practices in social marketing in order to encourage social communication for the common good making use of the advertising and PR tools.
The Account As I Want It was voted the best and the most customer-friendly personal account in rankings published by gazeta.pl (11 September 2017) and Comperia.pl (26 September 2017), respectively.
