The bank’s authority in charge of CSR matters is the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Committee of Santander Bank Polska chaired by the President of the Management Board. Its role is to set and manage the standards of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility challenges. The Committee is the main forum to discuss CSR and sustainable development subjects, define strategic CSR activity directions and set and monitor management objectives in all areas of Santander Bank Polska operations.

Competences of the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Committee of Santander Bank Polska

defining annual sustainability and corporate social responsibility objectives;

managing the sustainable development and corporate social responsibility policy of the Santander Bank Polska Group;

overseeing the implementation of the bank’s CSR and Sustainability Policy

approving long-term plans of the bank’s corporate social responsibility activities;

coordinating and overseeing the strategy of corporate social responsibility and sustainability and aligning it with the Group’s business objectives;

monitoring and evaluating the projects and initiatives implemented under the strategy;

analysing the organisation from the point of view of corporate business responsibility and sustainable development.
