„HERE I LIVE, HERE I MAKE ECO CHANGES” – PLN 300,000 donated by the Santander Foundation
Mini-parks, rain gardens, green public transport stops – 58 environment-friendly proposals have a chance to be implemented under the grant programme „HERE I LIVE, HERE I MAKE ECO CHANGES”. The Santander Bank Polska Foundation will donate PLN 300,000 to finance the projects. Submissions are accepted until March 8, 2021.
The aim of the programme is to change our immediate environment.
This is the second time we have focused on ecological projects. We want to make our neighbourhoods friendlier and greener. That is why we encourage you to create green zones for relaxation and planting flower meadows – especially in big cities, where greenery is scarce. We are open to various ideas, such as designing green bus stops or creating floral murals, but we particularly encourage the regeneration of neglected, abandoned places, which can be given a new life.
The jury of the competition will particularly appreciate inventive ecological initiatives responding to actual, social need. It is important that the project is carried out in public space and that the newly created or regenerated friendly place is accessible to everyone.
This year, the Santander Foundation has allocated PLN 300,000 to co-finance 58 most interesting proposals submitted to the „HERE I LIVE, HERE I MAKE ECO CHANGES” program:

organisations will receive a grant of PLN 8,000

organisations will receive a grant of PLN 5,000

organisations will receive a grant of PLN 3,000
The proposals may be submitetd by organisations operating in the local environment, such as foundations, associations, schools, kindergartens, libraries, cultural centres, museums, sports clubs, local government units or even voluntary fire brigades. In fact, anyone can submit a project. The condition for participation, however, is to persuade one of the above institutions to cooperate and submit an application. One organisation may submit only one application. Applications submitted by individuals and commercial entities will not be considered.
