PLN 2m from Santander Bank Polska Group to support child and adolescent psychiatry
Throughout June, the customers of Santander Bank Polska Group could donate to the „We Will Double Your Impact” fund-raising initiative. The Bank doubled all donations and added 1 million zlotys to support 16 hospitals with child and adolescent mental health units. The hospitals will receive PLN 2m in total.
Santander Bank Polska, in partnership with Santander Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych, Santander Leasing and Santander Factoring, has donated PLN 1 million to support child psychiatry. Moreover, in June, the Bank together with Santander Bank Polska Foundation launched the second edition of the “We Will Double Your Impact” charity campaign. Over 10 thousand people took part in the fund-raising. The Bank doubled the donations topping them up to PLN 2m. The money will go to 16 mental health units for children and adolescents.
Once again, we can together support those in need – this time we will support development and maintenance of the mental health units in Poland. I would like to thank all those who supported our charity campaign. As we are one of the biggest banks in Poland, being involved in socially important initiatives is a part of our DNA. We want to act responsibly and, therefore, non-business goals are also among our priorities
