100% leasing for electric cars
Since March 2018, entrepreneurs who want to invest in electric cars have been offered a new product: Eco Lease 100%. Customers who will choose the proposal of Santander Leasing to buy an electric car can apply for 100% financing under which they will have have no interest expenses for even 36 months.
Santander Leasing is a pioneer in financing electric cars in Poland. In 2010, still operating under the name of BZ WBK Leasing, it was the first leasing company in our country which launched the financing of vehicles from this segment. At present, the company has a comprehensive proposal for customers covering all Polish dealers of cars with electric drives. Financing electric cars is one of the elements of the bank’s strategy which assumes growing engagement in activities beneficial for the environment.
10 new electric buses for MZA
At the beginning of 2018, ten new electric buses appeared on the streets of Warsaw, as a result of an agreement signed on 18 July 2017 between the Municipal Bus Company (MZA) in Warsaw and the Solaris Bus&Coach and Santander Leasing consortium. The object of the agreement was the supply and lease financing by the consortium of 12-meter long electric Urbino buses with a total value exceeding PLN 30 million.

Protection of the natural environment is becoming increasingly important for a growing population of Poles. Consequently, businesses and institutions pay more and more attention to pro-environment activities. Santander Leasing has for many years supported environment-friendly investments, for instance, in the development of electromobility. Since March 2018, we have had a special 100% lease financing offer for electric cars. In partnership with international institutions, such as EBRD, CEB and IFC, we have been operating financing programs for Poland’s small and medium size companies, to support their modernization by financing investments in energy efficiency, equipment for the generation of renewable energy, infrastructure for water and waste management and many other projects beneficial for the environment.
