Our conformance with the requirements of responsible selling is additionally enhanced by the principles of ethical marketing, according to which advertising messages should build a positive image of the bank in the eyes of customers and, most importantly, provide complete, reliable and accurate information and conform with the law and ethical standards.

In 2018, no fines were imposed on Santander Bank Polska  for non-compliance with the laws or regulations. The Consumer and Competition Protection Office (UOKiK) issued one decision obliging the bank to offer compensation to eligible customers and conclude free-of-charge annexes to payment services agreements. No fine or monetary sanction was imposed in connection with the decision.
