Key activities and projects executed over the year by the bank in order  to reinforce the employees’ knowledge about the banks’ ethical standards and organizational culture

  • Development of the Corporate Defence model – a set of internal principles and rules preventing risk materialization and reducing the probability of the risk of criminal liability of employees;

  • Commencement of the development of an IT platform which will allow employees to report all concerns and issues (also anonymously) and will facilitate efficient management of the reports;

  • Continuation of the training and educational campaign on the intranet reminding employees about the available communication channels and encouraging the reporting of any breaches of the law;

  • Continuation of the e-learning program covering ethical and compliance topics (a component of mandatory employee training for many years);

  • Incorporating ethical and reputational aspects in the Risk Pro information and training campaign.

 Our plans for 2019:

  • Building the speak-up culture – activities encouraging employees to report ethical issues via dedicated channels and development of related indicators

  • Continuation of a communication campaign promoting ethical attitudes and presenting the channels which can be used to report an issue – addressed to employees and, separately, to Board Members

  • Designing educational activities for the management based on the learning lessons from the reports – in partnership with the Development Department

  • Review and updating of the Respect and Dignity Policy
